    We didn't book anything in advance and were "lucky" enough to have the last tent site. However, we weren't told that this site was surrounded by caravans, where the street lights are on all night long so we couldn't sleep at all. We understand that it was for safety reasons but we would have liked to be warned before paying $79 to sleep under a light spot. Otherwise, clean bathrooms and kitchens.

    I never stayed there, just walked through, but it looks like ideal location for a family holiday. Right on the beach (es) and so central to everything in Nelson Bay.
